Waste Lithium Battery Recycling Process
In waste recycling stations, we often see various waste lithium batteries, including steel shell lithium batteries, mobile phone lithium batteries, scrapped car lithium batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, power lithium batteries, etc. By effectively processing these waste lithium batteries, we can recycle the copper, aluminum and black powder in them, while reducing resource waste.
Gomine lithium battery recycling equipment focuses on the treatment of waste lithium batteries and adopts new mechanical crushing and sorting technology.
The waste lithium battery recycling process is as follows:

Discharge:
Used lithium batteries are soaked in salt water to ensure that they are not charged when subsequently crushed, preventing them from burning and exploding.
Shredding and crushing:
The discharged lithium battery is sent to the shredder to be shredded into small pieces, and then coarsely broken by the crusher to about 1 cm, and the outer shell, positive and negative electrodes are separated and enter the screening section.
Screening:
Drum screening to screen out the black powder. Some manufacturers on the market use linear screens in this process, which have a small output and the screening is not clean. The drum screen can achieve a screening rate of 70%-80%.
Sorting:
The crushed lithium battery material enters the magnetic separator, where the iron is screened out through magnetic force; the remaining materials are crushed and ground into powder and then enter screening equipment, such as rotary vibrating screen, specific gravity separator, and eddy current separator, which utilizes the size and weight differences between particles to effectively separate copper, aluminum, and black powder.
Through the above process, metals and black powder in waste lithium batteries can be effectively recovered. The separated materials can be reused, which not only reduces environmental pollution, but also reduces the production cost of new batteries, forming sustainable development.
